You Are Not Responsible For The Sins Others Committed Against You, What Others Did, They Are Responsible, It is Not Your Fault

 You Are Not Responsible For The Sins Others Committed Against You, What Others Did, They Are Responsible, It is Not Your Fault

Ezek 18:14-18
14 "If, however, he begets a son
Who sees all the sins which his father has done,
And considers but does not do likewise;
15 Who has not eaten on the mountains,
Nor lifted his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel,
Nor defiled his neighbor's wife;
16 Has not oppressed anyone,
Nor withheld a pledge,
Nor robbed by violence,
But has given his bread to the hungry
And covered the naked with clothing;
17 Who has withdrawn his hand from the poor
And not received usury or increase,
But has executed My judgments
And walked in My statutes —
He shall not die for the iniquity of his father;
He shall surely live!
18 "As for his father,
Because he cruelly oppressed,
Robbed his brother by violence,
And did what is not good among his people,
Behold, he shall die for his iniquity.
NKJV

You are not guilty of the sins of your parents, nor will you be held accountable for your parents’ sins. You will only be held accountable for your own sins. If you have been abused, you have done nothing wrong, you have nothing to be ashamed of , and you will not be accountable for the abuse you went through. It is only those who abused you who will be held accountable and they have something to be ashamed of. The abusers are the ones who have done something wrong, and they deserve the shame from it. You will only be accountable for what you do to others. If you mistreat others, then you have something to be ashamed of. If others mistreat you, then they have something to be ashamed of. There is nothing wrong with you because of what others did to you. You are not any less of a person because of what others did to you. There is something wrong with those who mistreat others. How you treat others is what determines what kind of person you are. Be kind and loving toward others, and that will make you a great person.

Deut 24:16
16 "Fathers shall not be put to death for their children, nor shall children be put to death for their fathers; a person shall be put to death for his own sin.
NKJV

Gen 18:22-33
22 Then the men turned away from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the Lord. 23 And Abraham came near and said, "Would You also destroy the righteous with the wicked? 24 Suppose there were fifty righteous within the city; would You also destroy the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous that were in it? 25 Far be it from You to do such a thing as this, to slay the righteous with the wicked, so that the righteous should be as the wicked; far be it from You! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?"
26 So the Lord said, "If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes."
27 Then Abraham answered and said, "Indeed now, I who am but dust and ashes have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: 28 Suppose there were five less than the fifty righteous; would You destroy all of the city for lack of five?"
So He said, "If I find there forty-five, I will not destroy it."
29 And he spoke to Him yet again and said, "Suppose there should be forty found there?"
So He said, "I will not do it for the sake of forty.
30 Then he said, "Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak: Suppose thirty should be found there?"
So He said, "I will not do it if I find thirty there."
31 And he said, "Indeed now, I have taken it upon myself to speak to the Lord: Suppose twenty should be found there?"
So He said, "I will not destroy it for the sake of twenty."
32 Then he said, "Let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak but once more: Suppose ten should be found there?"
And He said, "I will not destroy it for the sake of ten." 33 So the Lord went His way as soon as He had finished speaking with Abraham; and Abraham returned to his place.
NKJV

You are not responsible for the wicked deeds of others. What others did to you is not your fault, and you did no wrong because someone else abused you. There is no shame when you did nothing wrong. You do not become less of a person because of what someone else does to you. You are only responsible for your own wicked deeds. What someone else does to you does not make you a bad person, it is what you do to others that determines whether you are a good or bad person.

A real person will not think any less of you because of how you were treated, but a person will think less of you if you are mean and cruel to others. Do not be ashamed of what happened to you. I am here to support you!

Rom 6:17-18
17 But God be thanked that though you were slaves of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine to which you were delivered. 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness.
NKJV

After accepting Jesus Christ into your life, you are no longer slaves to the sin - either the sins you have committed or the sins that have been committed against you. You have been set free from them. You are no longer under the bondage that any past abuse has done to you, you are now free, and through the strength Christ gives you, you have overcome the abuse.
