Those With Good Character Cannot Be Torn Down
When you live a life in obedience to God’s word, and make it your goal to love others, live a life of integrity, show compassion, grace, mercy and kindness toward others, there is nothing that can tear you down. No matter how much someone tries to ruin your reputation, your reputation has been built on a solid foundation. If you have flaws, people will see past them, so if someone tries to reveal the flaws, you cannot be torn down. Someone may try their hardest to ruin your name, but only theirs will be ruined by what they do. Your name and reputation will remain in good standings. People will look past the bad things the other person tries to do to you. A person of proven character is like a house built on a rock, when storm come, that house still stands, nothing can tear that house down.
When you do mean things to others, become shrewd, try to tear others down, you are like a house built on the sand, when the storms come, that house falls. When someone tries to ruin your reputation, your reputation is already ruined by the things you have done and proven yourself to be.
If you are that person who built the house on the sand, it is never too late to accept Jesus Christ into your life and change your ways. It is never too late to build a house on the rock that can withstand storms.
Matt 7:24-27
24 "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: 25 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock.
26 "But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: 27 and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall."
NKJV
When you show good character, you will find that when others try to tear you down or ruin your reputation, people will stand behind you and support you.
